Two Killed, Two Injured in Waterford, Portmore Shooting



Two men were killed and two others injured during a gun attack in Waterford, Portmore, St. Catherine, on Monday night, according to police reports.

The deceased have been identified as 26-year-old Antoine Andre Reid, otherwise known as "Gong," and 26-year-old Saheid Roache. Both men were residents of the Waterford community.

Reports indicate that four individuals came under gunfire during the incident. Reid and Roache sustained multiple gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead. The two surviving victims, including a 17-year-old, were rushed to the hospital, where they remain receiving medical treatment.

Investigators have not yet established a motive for the deadly attack. Detectives are currently pursuing several leads as they work to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting and identify those responsible.

The incident has left residents of the community concerned as violence continues to impact sections of St. Catherine.

Police are appealing to anyone with information that may assist the investigation to contact the relevant authorities.
