Affidavit Details Allegations Against Jamaican TikToker Dummy

Affidavit Reveals Dummy Accused of Golf Cart Theft, Knife Threat, and Property Damage

Florida Affidavit Outlines Charges Against TikToker Dummy

An arrest affidavit reveals allegations that Jamaican TikToker Dummy threatened workers with a knife and took a golf cart from a Florida apartment complex.

New court documents have shed more light on the allegations facing Jamaican TikToker Dontay Howe, popularly known as "Dummy," following his recent arrest in Orlando, Florida.

According to an arrest affidavit filed by the Orlando Police Department, Howe is accused of taking a maintenance golf cart from an apartment complex, threatening workers with a knife, and damaging property during the incident.

The affidavit states that officers responded to an apartment complex on South Semoran Avenue on June 10 in relation to an aggravated assault complaint.

Investigators say maintenance employees reported that a golf cart valued at approximately US$7,000 had been taken from its designated parking area near the property's main office.

According to witness statements contained in the affidavit, two maintenance workers allegedly observed Howe driving the golf cart away from the office area. The workers reportedly attempted to block his path using another golf cart before approaching him.

The affidavit alleges that Howe then produced a large kitchen knife and raised it in a threatening manner, causing the workers to fear for their safety.

Investigators further claim that after the golf cart was disabled and the key removed, Howe allegedly grabbed a toilet valued at approximately US$200 from the rear of the cart and threw it to the ground, causing damage.

Property management subsequently contacted law enforcement and indicated that Howe did not have permission to take the golf cart.

The court document also references an earlier incident that day, in which officers reportedly responded to complaints that Howe was causing a disturbance in the apartment complex. According to the affidavit, residents alleged that mail had been removed from mailboxes and scattered throughout the property. However, no charges were reportedly pursued in relation to that incident.

Based on witness statements, video evidence, and the officer's investigation, authorities charged Howe with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, grand theft involving property valued between US$5,000 and US$10,000, and criminal mischief.

The affidavit noted that Howe was arrested without incident.

The allegations have generated significant discussion across social media, particularly among Jamaican TikTok users who have been following developments surrounding the popular content creator.

As of publication, Howe has not publicly addressed the allegations. All charges remain accusations, and he is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

The case is expected to proceed through the Florida court system, where additional details may emerge in the coming weeks.
