Police are investigating a suspected murder-suicide after pharmacy technician Kedecia McLeod was found dead, and her boyfriend was later discovered deceased.
Police are investigating what they believe may be a murder-suicide following the tragic deaths of Manchester pharmacy technician Kedecia McLeod and her boyfriend, Maurice Fennell.
McLeod, 40, was reported missing on Tuesday after she was last seen along Caledonia Road in Mandeville, Manchester. Her disappearance sparked concern among family members, friends, and co-workers who launched a desperate search for answers.
That search ended in tragedy on Thursday morning when her body was discovered along a roadway in the Pepper District of St. Elizabeth.
According to investigators, a farmer stumbled upon the body in a cul-de-sac shortly after 9:00 a.m. and immediately alerted the authorities.

Police reports indicate that preliminary examinations revealed injuries consistent with gunshot trauma. Investigators are now awaiting further forensic analysis as part of the ongoing probe.
As detectives worked to retrace McLeod's final movements, attention turned to a red Honda Fit that she was reportedly seen entering shortly before her disappearance.
The vehicle was eventually traced to 50-year-old Maurice Fennell, a loss prevention officer from Cambridge, St. James, who quickly became a person of interest in the investigation.
However, before investigators could formally question him, Fennell was found dead in Brown's Town, St. Ann, on Thursday morning.
Residents reported hearing gunshots in the area before authorities responded and discovered his body.
Senior Superintendent Carlos Russell, commander of the St. Ann Police Division, confirmed that Fennell was not a police officer, despite widespread rumours circulating online. He was employed as a loss prevention officer and was licensed to carry a firearm.
Investigators believe the firearm recovered at the scene was used in Fennell's death.
Police also reportedly uncovered messages sent to relatives in which Fennell indicated he intended to take his own life.
Further inquiries revealed that Fennell and McLeod were involved in a romantic relationship that relatives described as troubled.

One family member disclosed that the relationship had become increasingly strained in recent months. According to the relative, Fennell had frequently travelled to Mandeville since becoming involved with McLeod and had recently described the relationship as "tumultuous."
Attempts by family members to contact Fennell after news emerged of McLeod's disappearance were reportedly unsuccessful.
The deaths have left relatives, friends, and colleagues devastated.
McLeod, who lived in Allison District, Bombay, was the mother of an 11-year-old daughter and worked at Caledonia Mall Pharmacy in Mandeville.
Following confirmation of her death, the pharmacy reportedly closed early to allow grieving staff members time to process the tragedy.
Former colleagues also expressed shock and sadness. Dane Thomas, owner of Gateway Pharmacy, where McLeod previously worked for six years, described her as hardworking, trustworthy, and deeply committed to helping patients.
He said her death has left many in the community heartbroken and pledged support to her family and young daughter during this difficult time.
Police investigations remain ongoing as detectives continue to piece together the events leading up to the deaths.
